What is the difference between air freight and sea freight? +
Air freight<\/strong> takes 12 weeks in total (sometimes as few as 8) and is recommended for the majority of event orders. Sea freight<\/strong> takes 16 weeks and is suited for orders without a strict date constraint or for very large quantities. In both cases, delivery is DDP Canada — duties and customs fully included in the price.
What is DDP delivery and what does it include exactly? +
DDP stands for Delivered Duty Paid<\/em>. This means the price you receive in your quote includes 100 % of all fees<\/strong>: international shipping, insurance, customs clearance, import duties and taxes. You will not receive any surprise invoice from a freight forwarder or the CBSA.

What are your payment terms? +
Sport Import accepts bank transfer and Interac e-Transfer. Net-30<\/strong> terms are available for established organizations with a credit history — clubs, municipalities, sports associations and businesses. For new business relationships, standard terms are 50 % upon artwork approval and 50 % before final delivery.
Do you accept purchase order billing for businesses? +
Yes, Sport Import accepts purchase orders for corporate and institutional clients. We regularly work with HR departments and procurement teams that have formalized approval processes. A dedicated account representative accompanies you from start to finish to streamline your internal process.

How does the ordering process work, from quote to delivery? +
The process unfolds in 4 steps: 1)<\/strong> You submit your request via the form — we respond within 24 business hours with a personalized quote. 2)<\/strong> You receive and approve samples with your logo (2–3 weeks). 3)<\/strong> Production begins after your artwork approval (6–10 weeks depending on freight). 4)<\/strong> The order is delivered DDP to the address of your choice. A 50 % deposit is required upon artwork approval, with the balance due before shipment.
What graphic file formats do I need to provide for my customization? +
Vector<\/strong> formats are preferred and ideal: AI (Adobe Illustrator), EPS or SVG. High-resolution<\/strong> formats are also accepted: JPG, PNG or PDF at a minimum of 300 dpi. If you do not have vector files, our team can prepare your logo from a high-resolution image — graphic preparation fees may apply. Attach your files directly in the quote submission form.
